Charities we work with

We work with a couple of charities to help provide education opportunities to students both in the UK and around the world. Please read about the charities and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

UNIAID:

UniAid’s vision is of a world with neither practical nor financial barriers to individual fulfilment of potential via higher education.

It aims to:

  • Give young people and their sponsors practical financial coping skills for higher education
  • Broaden access, in higher education and earlier, to financial awareness and independent financial advice
  • Offer direct support to individual students in hardship

KAWAZA SCHOOL FUND:

Kawaza School Fund was started in the late 80’s by Jo Pope in an effort to improve the conditions at one of the local schools, Kawaza Basic School.

Since that time, significant improvements have been made at Kawaza and the Kawaza School Fund now works with 3 schools in the Nsefu area with a 4th school starting up in 2008.

They have designed an ambitious 5 year plan for 2007-2011 to improve all of these schools by building classrooms and teachers housing, with the end result being a full school system within the Nsefu area.

In addition to building projects, the fund also sponsors students on to secondary school and subsidizes salaries for teachers to reduce the student to teacher ratio.

At Money4Students we strongly believe in helping students in our cultures as well as our own and we are very proud to be working with the Kawaza School Fund.
