Dropping out of university
Think seriously before you consider dropping out of Uni. You have spent the last 13 years of you life getting to this stage and you need to consider your options:
Try speaking to your personal tutor at university (if you have been given one) or another member of staff you think may be able to help. Sometimes just some reassurance will make you feel better and give you a more positive outlook on your University life. Are you doing the right course? The chances are if you’re not happy with your degree course you won’t be happy with your University life. There’s always opportunities to change courses to one you think you will enjoy and get more out of. Consider taking a gap year. Sometimes you need to clear your head. If you’ve come straight out of school the last thing you might want to do is another 3 years of studying. This break can help to motivate you for when you do return to University. |

TOP TIP Talk to friends, teaching staff, family, etc the minute you start having serious doubts. It is much easier to sort problems out at an early stage. |
