Do students pay tax?

There’s always a myth about students not having pay tax, however the reality of it is that all people in the UK have to pay tax if they earn more than £5,225 in a 12 month period.

If you’re employed while you’re studying and earn less than £5,225 a year ask your employer for a P38(S) form so that your wages aren’t taxed.
