Deferring universityIf you plan to take a Gap Year before University you can defer your entry date by a year during the application process. This means that you will be offered a place for the following if you are successful with your results in August. Deferring university for a year can allow you to earn some cash to pay for your time at University, or alternatively to travel the world and enjoy yourself during a well-deserved break!Please visit our Gap Year section for more information on Gap Year travelling. It is often possible to defer a year while you're at University as well, which means you may complete your 1st or 2nd Year etc. and then decide you need a break to work or travel before you continue with your degree. You will need to speak to your University for more information as this varies from institution to institution. Some universities aren't as keen as others to let students defer university for a year. |
